When getting to Barinas you take
the turn direction San Cristobal on the big round about. After 5 to 10
minutes you will pass the "alcabala" de la Caramuca another 10 to 15
minutes ahead you pass the Paguey river on the first metal
bridge...another 15 minutes ahead you will pass the Canagua river and
just after that "la Ye" (entrance to ciudad Bolivia) continue straight
on and 5 minutes later you will get to the Acequias river..the third big
metal bridge since Barinas (or if you follow your tachometer it is 55 km
from Barinas to the Acequias bridge). Pass the bridge and just 30 meters
after it turn right before the small police station.
Our Arassari Trek Adventure camp
is situated at 3 Km along the road to Caño Grande. Coming from
Barinas one passes the metal bridge over the Acequia river and
just before the police checkpoint turns right and drives up aprox. 10
min./ 3 km of dirt road (in very good conditions). After passing the
third concrete creek passage, on the first short downhill drive you will
see a black watertank with our company logo (the sun of Bum Bum) in red
and yellow. Enter and park your car on the hill. |
